“There is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes”
MONTESSORI BRITISH CAMINO DE SANTIAGO
Discover an unforgettable 6-day adventure on the English Way to Santiago de Compostela, designed for 8 students 16 to 18 years old, led by guides Daliah and Michael (and their dog).
This 118 km journey from Ferrol features stages of 15-25 km daily, perfect for late February’s cool weather (0-15°C with possible rain).
Teen students from 16 to 18 years old will love the blend of hiking, survival skills, and pet-inclusive bonding in Galicia’s scenic trails.
Our route offers gentle daily hikes with expert-led survival workshops and dog-friendly breaks to keep everyone engaged and safe.
Survival skills include Compass navigation, Primitive fire&water purification, Basic First Aid, Shelter building, Knots and distress signals.
Tailored for young explorers, the program emphasizes self-reliance through hands-on survival training while ensuring dogs roam freely on rural paths (leash required on roads).
The team will also be supplied GoPro, 360 camera and drone to enable students to capture their own point of view memories of the trip which they will capture, edit and produce their own expedition movie.
